We used to use the NetMeeting client on our PCs on our internal network and
all you had to do was to start the client, put in the recipient's IP address,
and were able to do things like sharing applications. However, since Net
Meeting has now been replaced by Live Meeting, can this same thing be done or
is having Office Communications Server a requirement?

Hi Linda!

For using Live Meeting internally (for app or desktop sharing) you need
an OCS. Live Meeting Console is just a client app for OCS (or the hosted
version).
